Pyridium side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Dec 26, 2006. Female patient, 27 years of age, was diagnosed with intentional overdose and was treated with Pyridium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , azotaemia, chromaturia, intentional overdose, jaundice , renal failure acute. Pyridium dosage: 2000 MG, SINGLE, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Pyridium side effect was reported by a Physician from on Feb 01, 2005. Male patient, 77 years of age, weighting 108.7 lb, was diagnosed with dysuria, urinary tract infection  and was treated with Pyridium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory failure, anaemia, chromaturia, confusional state, disorientation, jaundice , mental status changes, metabolic acidosis, myocardial infarction. Pyridium dosage: 200 MG QID PO [ 7 DAYS PRIOR TO HOSPITALIZATION]. During the same period patient was treated with TYLENOL W, GLUCOTROL, FLOMAX, LASIX, RESTORIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Pyridium dosage: 1200 MG, SINGLE, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
