Female patient, weighting 22.00 lb, was diagnosed with malaria prophylaxis and was treated with Pyrimethamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral atrophy, cerebral malaria, confusional state, gastrointestinal disorder, grand mal convulsion, hyperthermia. Pyrimethamine dosage: 50 MG / PER DAY /. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient was diagnosed with congenital toxoplasmosis and was treated with Pyrimethamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, bone marrow failure, choreoathetosis, grand mal convulsion, infection What is  infection, neutropenia, no therapeutic response, respiratory failure. Pyrimethamine dosage: 1 MG/KG / PER DAY /. During the same period patient was treated with SULFADIAZINE, LEUCOVORIN CALCIUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
