Quinine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from AUSTRALIA on Nov 02, 2006. Female patient, 54 years of age, was diagnosed with muscle spasms and was treated with Quinine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disseminated intravascular coagulation, haemolytic uraemic syndrome, renal failure, rhabdomyolysis. Quinine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with QUININE SULPHATE, ATORVASTATIN, AMLODIPINE, ATENOLOL, ASPIRIN, GLUCOSAMINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Quinine dosage: 300 MG X 1 DOSE, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ATORVASTATIN, AMLODIPINE, ATENOLOL, ASPIRIN, GLUCOSAMINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
