Rasburicase side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 24, 2007. Male patient, 40 years of age, weighting 185.0 lb, was diagnosed with tumour lysis syndrome and was treated with Rasburicase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, blood methaemoglobin present, hypoxia. Rasburicase dosage: 15 MG DAILY IV ONCE. Patient recovered.

Rasburicase side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 25, 2007. Male patient, child 12 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with blood uric acid increased, tumour lysis syndrome and was treated with Rasburicase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, hypoxia, loss of consciousness, methaemoglobinaemia, no therapeutic response. Rasburicase dosage: 10.5MG ONCE IV. Patient recovered.
