Rasburicase Side Effects Report #4565649-4
Rasburicase side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Jan 25, 2005. Male patient, 58 years of age, weighting 229.3 lb, was diagnosed with blood uric acid increased, prophylaxis, tumour lysis syndrome and was treated with Rasburicase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, dyspnoea, methaemoglobinaemia, oxygen saturation decreased, po2 increased, tumour lysis syndrome. Rasburicase dosage: 15MG Q DAY INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with DOXORUBICIN, CISPLATIN, CYTARABINE, DEXAMETHASONE, ALLOPURINOL, DOCUSATE. Patient recovered.

Rasburicase side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 25, 2007. Male patient, child 12 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with blood uric acid increased, tumour lysis syndrome and was treated with Rasburicase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, hypoxia, loss of consciousness, methaemoglobinaemia, no therapeutic response. Rasburicase dosage: 10.5MG ONCE IV. Patient recovered.
