Rebetol side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Aug 18, 2005. Male patient, 65 years of age, weighting 123.5 lb, was diagnosed with hepatitis c  and was treated with Rebetol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anaemia, anorexia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, condition aggravated, dysphonia, eating disorder , hepatitis c rna positive, laryngeal leukoplakia. Rebetol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with INTRON A, INTRON A, INTRON A, TENORMIN, EPADEL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , aspartate aminotransferase increased, diarrhoea, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, haemorrhage, influenza like illness, nausea , platelet count decreased. Rebetol dosage: 1200 MG;QD;PO. During the same period patient was treated with INFERGEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/07/2007.
