Rifater side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Sept 13, 2005. Male patient, 29 years of age, weighting 145.5 lb, was diagnosed with lymph node tuberculosis and was treated with Rifater. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, hepatic failure, hepatitis , hepatocellular damage, lipase increased. Rifater dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

Rifater side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Oct 30, 2008. Male patient, 41 years of age, was treated with Rifater. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , blood amylase increased, c-reactive protein increased, lipase increased, pancreatitis acute, pyrexia, vomiting. Rifater dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with REYATAZ, TRUVADA, MYAMBUTOL, ROCEPHIN, MOVICOL, SPAGULAX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
