Rosiglitazone Side Effects Report #5624695-X
Rosiglitazone side effect was reported by a Physician from UKRAINE on Feb 11, 2008. Male patient, 67 years of age, weighting 221.6 lb, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension, myocardial ischaemia, cataract diabetic, ventricular extrasystoles, diabetic neuropathy, oedema and was treated with Rosiglitazone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, atrial fibrillation , atrial flutter, blood urea increased, bradycardia, cardiac failure congestive, cough, dyspnoea at rest, dyspnoea exertional. Rosiglitazone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACERCOMP, HYPOTHIAZID, ASPECARD, QUINAX, EGILOK, THIOCTIC ACID, LASIX, PHYSIOTENS. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
