Saquinavir side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on July 02, 2001. Male patient, 41 years of age, weighting 141.1 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection , prophylaxis, cerebral infarction and was treated with Saquinavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral infarction, constipation , cytomegalovirus chorioretinitis, dizziness , glaucoma , hypertension, hypertriglyceridaemia, insomnia, oral candidiasis. Saquinavir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with KALETRA, COTRIM, MYONAL, BAYER EXTRA STRENGTH. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , constipation , dry mouth, hepatomegaly, nausea , transaminases increased, white blood cell count increased. Saquinavir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RIFAMPICIN, RITONAVIR. Patient recovered.
