Seguril side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on July 06, 2005. Male patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with oedema, brain neoplasm, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and was treated with Seguril. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypokalaemia, hyponatraemia, renal impairment. Seguril dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with INDAPAMIDE, DEXAMETHASONE, VENTOLIN, ATROVENT, SERETIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/20/2005.

Male patient, 65 years of age, weighting 176.4 lb, was diagnosed with hypertensive heart disease, x-ray , gastrointestinal disorder, ventricular fibrillation, meningitis bacterial and was treated with Seguril. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, cardiac arrest , hyperphosphataemia, hypocalcaemia, hypokalaemia, torsade de pointes. Seguril dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FOSFOSODA, ENEMA CASEN, DIGOXIN, METRONIDAZOLE, CEFOTAXIME. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
