Streptomycin side effect was reported by a Physician from TUNISIA on June 23, 2005. Female patient was diagnosed with tuberculosis What is  tuberculosis and was treated with Streptomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acid fast stain positive, anaemia, anuria, blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, chest x-ray abnormal, depressed level of consciousness, haematemesis, haemoptysis. Streptomycin dosage: 1000 MG (1 IN 1 D), INTRAMUSCULAR. During the same period patient was treated with ISONIAZID, RIFAMPICIN, PYRAZINAMIDE. Patient recovered.

Streptomycin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 27, 2006. Male patient, 17 years of age, was diagnosed with bubonic plague and was treated with Streptomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arrhythmia What is  arrhythmia, blood creatinine increased, bubonic plague, dehydration, dialysis What is  dialysis, haematuria, heart rate increased, hyperkalaemia, hypovolaemia. Streptomycin dosage: unknown. Patient died on 02/11/2006.
