Sulfacetamide side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 10, 2008. Female patient, child 10 years of age, weighting 105.8 lb, was diagnosed with conjunctivitis, pyrexia and was treated with Sulfacetamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood osmolarity decreased, dehydration, diarrhoea, hepatomegaly, hyponatraemia, liver function test abnormal, toxic epidermal necrolysis. Sulfacetamide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TYLENOL, ADVIL LIQUI. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
