Sustiva Side Effects Report #4582909-1
Sustiva side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Feb 09, 2005. Male patient, 54 years of age, weighting 160.9 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection , hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Sustiva. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, chest pain , cytomegalovirus infection , gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, hepatic steatosis. Sustiva dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PRAVASTATIN, VIREAD, EPIVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Sustiva dosage: 600 MG QHS PO. During the same period patient was treated with COMBIVIR, ZERIT, EPIVIR, STREPTOMYCIN, RIFAMPICIN, ISONIAZID, PYRAZINAMIDE, ETHAMBUTOL HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/28/2008.
