Suxamethonium side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Oct 11, 2007. Female patient, child 0 years of age, weighting 3.69 lb, was diagnosed with induction of anaesthesia, maintenance of anaesthesia, sedation and was treated with Suxamethonium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: neonatal asphyxia. Suxamethonium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NITROUS OXIDE, OXYGEN, ISOFLURANE, FENTANYL CITRATE, THIOPENTAL, CERCINE, PENTAZOCINE LACTATE, VECURONIUM BROMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
