Syntocinon side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Sept 20, 2005. Female patient, 26 years of age, was diagnosed with labour induction and was treated with Syntocinon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: artificial rupture of membranes, caesarean section, failed induction of labour, labour complication, uterine contractions abnormal, uterine hypertonus. Syntocinon dosage: 10 IU IN 500 MLS SALINE. During the same period patient was treated with MISOPROSTOL, DINOPROSTONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
