Targretin Side Effects Report #5080942-7
Targretin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on July 28, 2006. Male patient, 50 years of age, weighting 192.0 lb, was diagnosed with bladder cancer  and was treated with Targretin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , dyspnoea, hypotension, hypoxia, pulmonary hypertension . Targretin dosage: 836 MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, LEVOTHYROXINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/26/2006.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure systolic increased, chest pain , dyspnoea, embolism, heart rate increased, hypoxia, oxygen saturation decreased, pulmonary embolism , pulmonary hypertension . Targretin dosage: 836 MG=11 TABS QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with TAXOTERE, SYNTHROID, LIPITOR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/26/2006.

Targretin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 30, 2006. Male patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Targretin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cough, dyspnoea, dyspnoea exertional, eye haemorrhage, hypoxia, oedema, pericardial effusion, platelet count decreased, retinoic acid syndrome. Targretin dosage: 150 MG/M^2 DAILY PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
