Tazocilline Side Effects Report #5081008-2
Tazocilline side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Aug 03, 2006. Male patient, 22 years of age, was diagnosed with pyrexia, acute myelomonocytic leukaemia and was treated with Tazocilline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, anxiety , aphasia , convulsion, crying, csf protein increased, depressed level of consciousness, encephalopathy, inappropriate affect. Tazocilline dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE, AZANTAC, HYDROCORTISONE, METHOTREXATE, FUNGIZONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amnesia, candida sepsis, cerebral atrophy, cerebral haemorrhage, convulsion, extremity contracture, facial palsy, hemiparesis, mutism. Tazocilline dosage: 1200 MG TOTAL DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with CLONAZEPAM, RISPERDAL, SEROPRAM, SECTRAL, GENTALLINE, ARTANE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 11/25/2007.
