Tegaserod Side Effects Report #4806046-3
Tegaserod side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Sept 15, 2005. Female patient, 54 years of age, weighting 271.2 lb, was diagnosed with dyspepsia, depression , hypothyroidism and was treated with Tegaserod. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain lower, acute psychosis, affective disorder, appendicectomy, appendicitis perforated, confusional state, hallucinations, mixed. Tegaserod dosage: 6 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with EFFEXOR, SYNTHROID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Tegaserod dosage: 6 MG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with MEPERIDINE, MIDAZOLAM HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient recovered.
