Tegaserod side effect was reported by a Physician from on Mar 11, 2005. Female patient, 72 years of age, weighting 127.9 lb, was diagnosed with dyspepsia and was treated with Tegaserod. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , chest discomfort, chest pain , costochondritis, diarrhoea, dizziness , dry skin, mitral valve incompetence, orthostatic hypotension. Tegaserod dosage: 6 MG, BID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 65 years of age, weighting 143.7 lb, was diagnosed with dyspepsia and was treated with Tegaserod. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, cardiac stress test abnormal, carotid artery stenosis, catheterisation cardiac, chest discomfort, chest pain , coronary artery disease , dyspnoea, dyspnoea exertional. Tegaserod dosage: 6 MG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with TOPROL, PLAVIX, ASPIRIN, LEXAPRO, FEMARA, TEMAZEPAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
