Telithromycin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Oct 12, 2004. Female patient, 20 years of age, was diagnosed with sinusitis  and was treated with Telithromycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: mydriasis, photophobia, vision blurred, visual disturbance. Telithromycin dosage: 400 (2 TABLETS X 5 DAYS) MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with ORAL CONTRACEPTIVE NOS. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 26 years of age, was diagnosed with bronchitis , sinusitis  and was treated with Telithromycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: eye irritation, mydriasis. Telithromycin dosage: 400 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with DEXTROMETHORPHAN HYDROBROMIDE, PSEUDOEPHEDRINE HYDROCHLORIDE, BROMPHENIRAMINE MALEATE. Patient recovered.
