Telmisartan Side Effects Report #5481828-6
Telmisartan side effect was reported by a Physician from TAIWAN, PROVINCE OF CHINA on Oct 08, 2007. Female patient, weighting 134.5 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension, ischaemic heart disease prophylaxis, adrenal insufficiency, sciatica , back pain , hypothyroidism, dyspnoea, atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Telmisartan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , ileal ulcer perforation, peritonitis, septic shock. Telmisartan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, CORTISONE ACETATE, MOBIC, FLARBIPROFEN, LEVOTHYROXINE, THEOPHYLLINE, LERCANIDIPINE, BISOPROLOL FUMARATE. Patient died on 10/05/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation . Telmisartan dosage: RT: TELMISARTAN 40MG+AMLODIPINE 10 MG. During the same period patient was treated with ANOPYRIN, METFORMIN, FEBIRA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
