Tetracycline side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Nov 18, 2005. Female patient, 46 years of age, was diagnosed with rosacea What is  rosacea and was treated with Tetracycline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain What is  abdominal pain, blood amylase increased, bowel sounds abnormal, carbohydrate tolerance decreased, colitis, diarrhoea, dyspepsia, flatulence, frequent bowel movements. Tetracycline dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TETRACYCLINE HYDROCHLORIDE, VITAMINS. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 44 years of age, weighting 110.0 lb, was diagnosed with oral surgery, postoperative care and was treated with Tetracycline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agoraphobia, anxiety What is  anxiety, chest discomfort, claustrophobia, delusion, depression What is  depression, dyspepsia, fear, feeling abnormal. Tetracycline dosage: 500MG TWICE PO. Patient recovered.
