Thalomide side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on May 17, 2007. Female patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma What is  multiple myeloma and was treated with Thalomide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, acute hepatic failure, asterixis, coagulopathy, confusional state, haemodialysis, hepatorenal syndrome, mental status changes, renal failure. Thalomide dosage: 100 MG, DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with METOPROLOL TARTRATE, ASPIRIN. Patient died.
