Female patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and was treated with Theophylline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, blood ph decreased, convulsion, effusion, electrocardiogram qrs complex shortened, haemodialysis, lobar pneumonia. Theophylline dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CIPROFLOXACIN. Patient died on 01/01/2003.
