Theophylline side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on May 27, 2008. Female patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with bronchitis chronic and was treated with Theophylline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: altered state of consciousness, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, central nervous system lesion, complex partial seizures, convulsion, corneal reflex decreased, csf protein increased, encephalopathy, enteritis. Theophylline dosage: 400 MG /D PO. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Theophylline dosage: 400 MG, QD,. During the same period patient was treated with ANTITUSSIVES. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
