Thioguanine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from AUSTRIA on May 28, 2008. Female patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease and was treated with Thioguanine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, ascites, colitis ulcerative, haematemesis, hypoalbuminaemia, leukopenia, malnutrition, oedema peripheral. Thioguanine dosage: 40MG / PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with AZATHIOPRINE, PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
