Tranexamic side effect was reported by a Physician from DENMARK on Nov 27, 2006. Male patient, 64 years of age, weighting 167.6 lb, was diagnosed with post procedural haemorrhage and was treated with Tranexamic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, infusion site thrombosis, post procedural complication, shock. Tranexamic dosage: (1000 MG), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with VOLTAREN. Patient recovered.

Tranexamic side effect was reported by a Physician from on May 12, 2005. Male patient, 67 years of age, weighting 121.3 lb, was diagnosed with haemorrhage and was treated with Tranexamic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: post procedural complication, pulmonary embolism What is  pulmonary embolism. Tranexamic dosage: 1100 MG (1 IN 1 D) INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with DICLOXACILLIN MONOHYDRATE, HEXAMYCIN. Patient died on 01/28/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain stem syndrome, post procedural complication, pulmonary embolism What is  pulmonary embolism. Tranexamic dosage: 1360 MG (1 IN 1 D) INTRAVENOUS. Patient died on 10/28/2004.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: grand mal convulsion, post procedural complication. Tranexamic dosage: 30MG/KG IV LOAD X1 IV BOLUS; 16MG/KG/HR IV INTRAOP X 2HRS IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with TRANEXAMIC ACID PFIZER, ETOMIDATE, ISOFLURANE, FENTANYL, VECURONIUM BROMIDE, MIDAZOLAM, PROPOFOL, METOCLOPRAMID. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with TRANEXAMIC ACID, ETOMIDATE, SEVOFLURANE, ROCURONIUM BROMIDE, FENTANYL, CEFAZOLIN, MAGNESIUM SULPHATE. Patient recovered.
