Tygacil Side Effects Report #5585468-X
Tygacil side effect was reported by a Physician from MEXICO on Jan 04, 2008. Male patient, 32 years of age, weighting 158.7 lb, was diagnosed with prophylaxis and was treated with Tygacil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute pulmonary oedema, cardiac arrest . Tygacil dosage: ONE 700 ML DOSE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute pulmonary oedema, cardiac arrest . Tygacil dosage: 100 MG/200 CC SALINE. During the same period patient was treated with MIDAZOLAM, DIPRIVAN, FENTANEST, NORCURON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with MIDAZOLAM, DIPRIVAN, FENTANEST, NORCURON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest . Tygacil dosage: 100MG LOADING DOSE, THEN 50MG EVERY 12 HOURS. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic shock, cardiac arrest . Tygacil dosage: 100 MG LOADING DOSE FOLLOWED BY 50 MG TWICE DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with NETILMICIN SULPHATE, METOCLOPRAMIDE, ULCERAN, BUDESONIDE, ENOXAPARIN, PHENYTOIN, LACTULOSE, VENTOLIN. Patient died on 02/10/2009.

During the same period patient was treated with NETILMICIN SULPHATE, METOCLOPRAMIDE, ULCERAN, BUDESONIDE, HEPARIN, PHENYTOIN, LACTULOSE, VENTOLIN. Patient died on 02/10/2009.

Tygacil dosage: 100 MG LOAD THEN 50 MG EVERY 12 HRS, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with NORMAL IMMUNOGLOBULIN, COUMADIN. Patient died on 02/03/2006.

Tygacil dosage: 100 MG LOAD, THEN 50 MG EVERY 12 HOURS, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with LEVOPHED, CIPRO, CEFEPIME, VANCOMYCIN, ZOSYN, PROTONIX, LASIX. Patient died on 10/11/2006.
