Tygacil side effect was reported by a Health Professional from PORTUGAL on May 26, 2008. Male patient, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with pneumonia  and was treated with Tygacil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cholestasis, hepatic necrosis. Tygacil dosage: 100 MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with OMEPRAZOLE, FUROSEMIDE, ALFENTANIL, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT, GENTAMICIN, HEPARIN, MIDAZOLAM. Patient recovered.

Tygacil dosage: 50 MG EVERY 12 HOURS, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ANZEMET, LORAZEPAM, DARVOCET, DESYREL, GLUCOPHAGE, KLONOPIN, LASIX, LOVENOX. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
