Ursodiol side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Sept 21, 2005. Male patient, 54 years of age, was diagnosed with hepatitis c , diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent, insomnia and was treated with Ursodiol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, cough, erythema, hepatic function abnormal, hypersensitivity, interstitial lung disease, rash , rash papular. Ursodiol dosage: 600 MG. During the same period patient was treated with EUGLUCON, ROHYPNOL, BASEN, NORVASC, QUINAPRIL. Patient recovered.

Ursodiol side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on July 20, 2005. Male patient, 73 years of age, weighting 149.9 lb, was diagnosed with hepatic cirrhosis, insulin-requiring type ii diabetes mellitus, constipation  and was treated with Ursodiol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: excoriation, haemorrhage, injection site rash, malaise, rash pruritic, thrombocytopenic purpura, vitreous floaters. Ursodiol dosage: 600 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with NOVORAPID, PURSENNID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
