Valganciclovir side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Oct 28, 2008. Male patient, 59 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia cytomegaloviral, obliterative bronchiolitis and was treated with Valganciclovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agranulocytosis, hyperthermia, neutropenia, obliterative bronchiolitis. Valganciclovir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BACTRIM, CEFTRIAXONE, METHYLPREDNISOLONE SUCCINATE, NEUPOGEN, ANTIBIOTIC NOS, MEROPEN, ISEPAMICIN SULPHATE. Patient died.
