Vesanoid Side Effects Report #4883736-8
Vesanoid side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 27, 2005. Female patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with infection , neutropenia, prophylaxis, acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Vesanoid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood triglycerides increased, central line infection, coma, dizziness , dysphagia, hyperbilirubinaemia, hypotension, international normalised ratio increased, liver function test abnormal. Vesanoid dosage: 40 MG IN THE MORNING AND 50 MG IN THE EVENING.. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, CEFEPIME, NEUPOGEN, HEPARIN, IDARUBICIN, FLUCONAZOLE, ACYCLOVIR, CASPOFUNGIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, dyspnoea, hypotension, pyrexia, renal failure acute, retinoic acid syndrome, rhabdomyolysis, transaminases increased. Vesanoid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DAUNORUBICIN, CYTARABINE. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with ZAVEDOS, AMIKACINA NORMON, LOSEC, ALLOPURINOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
