Vinflunine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Feb 07, 2005. Male patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer and was treated with Vinflunine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea, dyspnoea exacerbated, febrile neutropenia, myocardial infarction, troponin t increased. Vinflunine dosage: CYCLE 1: 01-DEC-04/DOSE: 600 MG. CYCLE 2: 22-DEC-04/DOSE: 600 MG.. During the same period patient was treated with CARBOPLATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/03/2004.

Female patient, 60 years of age, weighting 163.1 lb, was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer and was treated with Vinflunine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspiration pleural cavity abnormal, atrial fibrillation , crepitations, dyspnoea, haematemesis, haematocrit decreased, haemoptysis, heart rate increased, hypotension. Vinflunine dosage: 320MG/M2 Q3WK IV. During the same period patient was treated with CETUXIMAB. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
