Visipaque Side Effects Report #5698793-9
Visipaque side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from NORWAY on Apr 01, 2008. Female patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma and was treated with Visipaque. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , depressed level of consciousness, heart rate decreased, loss of consciousness, malaise, retching, right ventricular failure, ventricular fibrillation. Visipaque dosage: 120 ML, SINGLE DOSE, I.V.. During the same period patient was treated with CARVEDILOL, LASIX. Patient died on 02/18/2008.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , coma, dyspnoea, lobar pneumonia, respiratory distress, resuscitation. Visipaque dosage: 150 ML SINGLE DOSE IV. Patient died on 10/01/2004.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactoid shock, arteriosclerosis coronary artery, cardiac arrest , cyanosis, pulmonary congestion, pulmonary oedema, renal haemorrhage, tryptase increased. Visipaque dosage: 100 ML, SINGLE DOSE, I.V.. Patient died.
