Female patient, 77 years of age, weighting 114.0 lb, was diagnosed with gastrointestinal infection and was treated with Xifaxan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea haemorrhagic, dysphonia, hypotension, pyrexia, visual disturbance, weight decreased. Xifaxan dosage: 200MG/TID, ORAL. Patient recovered.
