Zanaflex side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from CANADA on June 27, 2006. Male patient, 71 years of age, was diagnosed with neuralgia and was treated with Zanaflex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , convulsion, delirium, fall , joint contracture. Zanaflex dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LYRICA, ACTONEL, CILAZAPRIL, PANTOPRAZOLE, COMTAN, DETROL LA, CLONAZEPAM, EZETROL. Patient recovered.

Female patient, weighting 160.0 lb, was diagnosed with muscle spasms and was treated with Zanaflex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose increased, cyanosis, dizziness , fall , respiratory arrest, syncope, urinary incontinence . Zanaflex dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with REMERON, EFEXOR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 56 years of age, weighting 105.0 lb, was diagnosed with headache  and was treated with Zanaflex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, fall , gait disturbance, loss of consciousness, somnolence, thinking abnormal. Zanaflex dosage: 4 MG QHS PO. During the same period patient was treated with CYMBALTA, PROVIGIL, KLONOPIN, GABAPENTIN, VERAPAMIL. Patient recovered.
