Zaroxolyn and bradyarrhythmia Patient Reports February 10, 2010

Zaroxolyn Side Effects Report #4570179-X
Zaroxolyn side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Aug 11, 2004. Male patient, 53 years of age, was diagnosed with fluid retention, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, depression , thrombosis prophylaxis and was treated with Zaroxolyn. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, anoxic encephalopathy, aspiration, bacteria sputum identified, bradyarrhythmia, cardiac arrest , cardiac failure congestive, chest wall pain, dependence on respirator. Zaroxolyn dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE, MICARDIS, COZAAR, HUMULIN, HUMALOG, ZOLOFT, PLAVIX, TOPROL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/05/2004.

Male patient, 53 years of age, was diagnosed with fluid retention, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, depression  and was treated with Zaroxolyn. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, anoxic encephalopathy, aspiration, bradyarrhythmia, cardiac arrest , cardiac failure congestive, faecal occult blood positive, gastritis, graft thrombosis. Zaroxolyn dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MICARDIS, COZAAR, NOVOLIN, HUMALOG, FUROSEMIDE, ZOLOFT, PLAVIX, TOPROL. Patient died on 07/05/2004.
