Zegerid side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Dec 05, 2008. Female patient, 58 years of age, weighting 140.0 lb, was diagnosed with gastrooesophageal reflux disease and was treated with Zegerid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, arthralgia, blood lead increased, burning sensation mucosal, clostridium difficile colitis, dysphonia, glossodynia, headache . Zegerid dosage: 40 MG; QD; PO. During the same period patient was treated with OXYCONTIN, FENTANYL, OXYCODONE, DURASEGIC, LEXAPRO, TRAZODONE, THYROID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 33 years of age, was diagnosed with gastrooesophageal reflux disease and was treated with Zegerid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, back pain , chest pain , constipation , haematocrit decreased, hydronephrosis, kidney infection, nephrolithiasis. Zegerid dosage: 40 MG;QD;PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
