Zidovudine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from GERMANY on Oct 31, 2005. Male patient, 42 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Zidovudine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebellar syndrome, condition aggravated, gait disturbance, immune reconstitution syndrome, nausea , tremor, vertigo. Zidovudine dosage: 600MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with LAMIVUDINE, LOPINAVIR, CIDOFOVIR. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, disorder of globe, iridocele, pain , pulmonary congestion, pulmonary tuberculosis, retinal exudates, uveitis. Zidovudine dosage: 300 MG,. During the same period patient was treated with EFAVIRENZ, LAMIVUDINE, RIFAMPICIN, ISONIAZID, PYRAZINAMIDE, ETHAMBUTOL HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient recovered.

Zidovudine dosage: 1000MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with LAMIVUDINE, NELFINAVIR, NEVIRAPINE. Patient died.

Patient died on 12/27/2008.
