Zidovudine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from NETHERLANDS on Dec 04, 2007. Female patient was diagnosed with prophylaxis against hiv infection , hiv test positive , premature rupture of membranes and was treated with Zidovudine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arrhythmia , atrioventricular block complete, blood lactic acid increased, cardiomyopathy , premature baby. Zidovudine dosage: 4MGK PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with LAMIVUDINE, LOPINAVIR, RITONAVIR, LOPINAVIR AND RITONAVIR, TENOFOVIR DISOPROXIL FUMARATE, STEROIDS. Patient recovered.
