Zithromax side effect was reported by a Physician from on Apr 19, 2005. Female patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with upper respiratory tract inflammation, ill-defined disorder and was treated with Zithromax. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , depressed level of consciousness, encephalitis , encephalopathy. Zithromax dosage: 500 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ZALTOPROFEN, CLEMASTINE FUMARATE, CODEINE PHOSPHATE, GLUCOSE, SALICYLATE ECT, CEFOZOPRAN HYDROCHLORIDE, THIAMINE, PYRIDOXAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 04/08/2005.
