I had such severe side effects I thought I was going insane. My husband even got out the video camera to show me how bad it was. I rocked and rocked back and forth, my entire body shook involuntarily, I paced, I didn’t sleep,I couldn’t rest or relax - it was hell. And no one understood. No one could fix me. Not one doctor. Not even the psych doc. She told me I had restless leg syndrome and told me to see my family doc for that! I was even put on trazadone and it had the same side effects as the seroquel! I had to figure it out myself and when I quit taking the seroquel, it stopped! We ALL have to be our own advocates and stick up for ourselves and be informed. WE NEED TO STAY INFORMED and pay attention to what is new and what changes are taking place when new meds are introduced to ourselves and/or families and friends.
